Josep Rubau
Designer. Engineer. Creator. A lifetime of ideas, now carrying his own name.
A name on the car. A person behind it.
From industrial design in Barcelona to the Royal College of Art in London, automotive design in Germany and the creation of Tramontana, Josep’s work has explored the relationship between movement, engineering and emotion.
Rubau Cars is a more personal chapter. His experience is present in the proportions, the materials and the details you notice when you spend time with the car.

Iu and Julia are part of the continuation of Rubau Cars. The name belongs to a family, and the ambition is shared: create something worth driving.
05 / Nordic Motors & Rubau
Being there changes everything.
A conversation began in the first week of July. Two months later, we were in Barcelona, meeting the people behind the car in person.
We wanted to understand more than the car.
We experienced the car, looked closely at the workmanship and spoke with the people responsible for it. The details they cared about and the way they approached their work told us more than a presentation could.

Time to understand.
Above the city and the Mediterranean, our time at Hotel Miramar became part of the relationship. The car, a shared dinner, and conversations about design, family and what the future could hold.
Those moments shape how we want our clients to discover Rubau: personally, with time to ask questions and form their own connection.
